I celebrated my 40th birthday in Palawan, Philippines. Click the link to see some photos from the day.




I awoke to a candle-light breakfast.



I was blessed with some birthday cards brought from the U.S., including one featuring a quote from someone who also was born on February 12, Abe Lincoln.



After lunch, the server brought out a crepe with bananas and chocolate.



We spent the afternoon lounging on a beach until sunset.






The gang treated me to a great dinner at a French restaurant on the beach.



Once again, the server brought out a dessert when he overheard us talking about my birthday.

All in all, a great birthday!
